Spring garden - A watercolour and ink art workshop with Lesley Kendall

Immerse yourself in beauty....watery paint, coloured inks, petals, leaves, tea bowls and floral scents.

Spend a relaxing morning or afternoon drawing and painting flowers from the spring garden.

Artist Lesley Kendall, from Rustling Leaf, will take you through a series of exercises showing techniques she uses in her own paintings.  You will then get to do your own paintings with Lesley’s guidance. 

Bring along a flower, sprig or leaf from a garden that has a special memory for you to share with the group. Kylie from paper boat press will share some precious vases from her ceramic collection to place the flowers in and will bring some ceramic stories to the table.

Each workshop will be limited to 8 people.  

Flower teas and petal tea cakes will be provided and all art materials will be supplied.   No painting experience is necessary.

Location: the crescent room, paper boat press gallery, 60 Ashgrove Crescent, Ashgrove.

Please wear old clothes and bring an apron.
