Autumn leaves - A watercolour and ink art workshop with Lesley Kendall

Explore the leafy world around us with all their beautiful shapes, colours and textures by spending a relaxing morning or afternoon drawing and painting autumn leaves with Lesley Kendall.  You will also be making your own simple drawing tools from natural materials.

Artist Lesley Kendall, from Rustling Leaf, will take you through a series of exercises showing techniques she uses in her own artwork. You will then get to do your own paintings with Lesley’s guidance. 

The workshops are tailored for small groups and are a perfect place for beginners and for people who would like to explore painting in a relaxed, loose style.

There will be an abundance of leaves in the studio for inspiration. You may also bring your own leaves to paint and we’ll add them to the forest floor.

Each workshop will be limited to 8 people.  

Tea and cakes will be provided and all art materials will be supplied. No painting experience is necessary.

Location: the crescent room, paper boat press gallery, 60 Ashgrove Crescent, Ashgrove.

Cost: $170 per person (includes tuition, materials, refreshments)

Please wear old clothes and bring an apron.
