Create your own ornaments this year with our Memento Kits—perfect gifts for teachers, coaches, friends, neighbours, grandparents, aunts, and uncles! With these kits, your kids’ Christmas gifts are sorted!
And they’re not just for kids! These kits are also perfect for work parties, friends' Christmas parties (why not try an ornament exchange?), girls' nights in, or simply paint one for your own tree!
Ornaments are designed and handmade in the Brisbane ceramic studio of paper boat press. We have been making handmade ceramic objects with love, care and integrity for over 20 years.
Each ornament measures approximately 8cm x 5cm.
Now it’s your turn to paint on them!
Each set contains:
- 5 bauble shaped ornaments hand stamped and fired using cream/white earthenware clay with a white gloss glaze on the front.
- a toolkit including a set of water based enamel paints, pallete for mixing colours, 3 high quality brushes.
- ribbon for stringing
- hand drawn step by step instructions and tips (including colour wheel and guide to mixing colours).
All you'll need is two jars of water (one for cleaning and one for thinning to make a watercolour effect). After painting, let the ornaments dry for 24 hours. Then, place them on a tray in a cool oven, heat to 150°C, and bake for 1.5 hours. Let cool, and you’re all set!
