Artist Yoko Matsunami harnesses the qualities of Shigaraki clay to create functional and beautiful pieces. Recurring motifs of stars, moons, spots, and plants, in combination with granular, smooth, and iron-rich clay, form the basis of her signature.
These ceramic pieces often have sections with a wonderfully tactile, grainy finish, which offers another lovely reminder of the handmade nature of the works.
These small plates are available in two styles, in cream, brown, and grey-green. Please select your requested design from the drop-down menu. The corresponding numbers for each item are displayed in the images.
