Ceramic artist Dai Li is perhaps best known for her whimsical and profound sculptures focusing on emotional states, with the characters she creates often depicting humorous, sceptical, or quizzical expressions. She lives on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland with her husband Joe and two sons, with her sculptural work represented by Jan Manton Gallery in Brisbane.
Dai Li also has a collection of work that she shares with small galleries that include vases, cups, bowls and jugs, and we are so honoured to show her work here at paper boat press.
Each piece is hand formed and each expression is unique.
