Japanese artist Keiko Matsumoto creates warm and offbeat pieces which include a wonderful collection of characters. Each unique ceramic piece is handmade and expressively drawn, combining earthy glazes and bright pops of colour. It is a delight to share the humour and individuality of Keiko's work in the paper boat press gallery.
This medium, shallow bowl features green trees next to a girl with flowing locks, on a brown base. It has a lovely organic, uneven rim.
