Japanese artist Keiko Matsumoto creates warm and offbeat pieces which include a wonderful collection of characters. Each unique ceramic piece is handmade and expressively drawn, combining earthy glazes and bright pops of colour. It is a delight to share the humour and individuality of Keiko's work in the paper boat press gallery.
This large, imperfectly rectangular flat plate features a raised rim, wintry tree, bird, and girl against a mottled yellow-brown base.
