These cooking vessels are made by Tetsuya Otani in his pottery studio in the mountains of the ancient pottery town east of Kyoto, Shigaraki.
They are made for use directly on gas or electric stove top, and/or into an oven and then straight to the table.
These pans will patina from use, it is part of their charm, and your meals become part of the history of the piece.
